IT Support Engineer

Job Context

  • Provide technical assistance and support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues via phone, email, or in person.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, software applications, peripherals, CCTV surveillance systems, PA systems, and network devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, IP cameras, NVR, and other IT equipment.
  • Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights in various systems and applications.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates, patches, and antivirus scans to ensure system security and performance.
  • Respond to service requests and incidents promptly, escalating issues to line manager or vendors as needed.
  • Document support activities, solutions, and troubleshooting steps for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Educate employees on IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other members of the IT team to implement new technologies, systems, or upgrades.
  • Participate in on-call rotation schedules to provide after-hours support when needed and respond to critical system issues or

Additional Requirements
  • Age at least 25 years
  • 5+ years of frontend development experience, with at least 3 years using the Vue.js framework
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including modern features and best practices
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
  • Knowledge of RESTful API integration and effective communication with backend systems
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git (Github)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Nice-to-haves:
  • Experience with other JavaScript frameworks, such as Angular or React
  • Familiarity with backend technologies, such as PHP and Laravel
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and best practices
