About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong software architecture knowledge to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in backend development using FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and other modern Python frameworks and technologies. This role requires a solid understanding of software architecture principles, database design, and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and Pydantic
- Implement and optimize database structures and queries using PostgreSQL
- Develop asynchronous task processing solutions using Celery and Redis
- Apply object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and SOLID design patterns in code development
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Actions
- Containerize applications using Docker for consistent deployment
Requirements
Software Architecture Knowledge
- Proficient in Python with at least 3 years of experience
- Expertise in API design patterns, particularly REST and SOAP
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles and patterns
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts
- Experience applying SOLID principles in real-world applications
- Knowledge of common design patterns and when to apply them
- Ability to create and interpret UML diagrams for system design and documentation
- Experience with testing frameworks such as pytest or unittest
Additional Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Experience with other Python frameworks like Django or Flask
- Understanding of cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Knowledge of message queuing systems beyond Redis
